VIDEO PRESENTATION – THE PRAYER GOD ANSWERS
Fervent Prayer Brings Results
God is a prayer answering God! The Lord does hear us when we pray. God not only hears us but answers prayer. Yes, fervent prayer brings results!
Psalm 34:15- The eyes of the LORD are toward the righteous, And His ears are toward their cry for help.
Verse 17 to 20 – The righteous cry out, and the LORD hears and rescues them from all their troubles. The LORD is near to the broken hearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit. The afflictions of the righteous are many, but the LORD rescues him from them all. He protects all his bones, Not one of them is broken.
There is (and has been through all history) overwhelming proof of God’s faithfulness. His faithfulness in bringing men deliverance, when in deep trouble they call on Him.
Psa 34:22- Divine deliverances will compass the righteous around (Revised Version).
Sincere Christians are always being given new proofs of the goodness of the Lord, and of the blessedness of all who put their trust in him! Their fervent prayer brings results and God’s many deliverances In their lives will cause the godly to be very courageous .
Prov 28:1- The wicked flee when no man chases, but the righteous are bold as a lion!
An Angel Breaks Chains

The apostle Peter for example was miraculously ‘ busted out of jail’ in answer to the prayers of fellow Christian believers. We read this account of God’s miraculous intervention in Acts 12:
Acts 12: 5 to 11. – Peter was therefore kept in prison, but constant prayer was offered to God for him by the church. 6And when Herod was about to bring him out, that night Peter was sleeping, bound with two chains between two soldiers; and the guards before the door were [c]keeping the prison. 7Now behold, an angel of the Lord stood by him, and a light shone in the prison; and he struck Peter on the side and raised him up, saying, “Arise quickly!” And his chains fell off his hands. 8Then the angel said to him, “Gird yourself and tie on your sandals’ ‘; and so he did. And he said to him, “Put on your garment and follow me.” 9So he went out and followed him, and did not know that what was done by the angel was real, but thought he was seeing a vision. 10When they were past the first and the second guard posts, they came to the iron gate that leads to the city, which opened to them of its own accord; and they went out and went down one street, and immediately the angel departed from him.
11And when Peter had come to himself, he said, “Now I know for certain that the Lord has sent His angel, and has delivered me from the hand of Herod and from all the expectation of the Jewish people.
During Peter’s imprisonment constant prayer was offered on his behalf. Our lord Jesus has encouraged us to be persistent, tireless and full of anticipation in prayer. Peter was wonderfully and miraculously delivered.
Keep Your Finger On The Prayer Button
The man who is known as the Prince of Preachers, Charles Haddon Spurgeon, gave the following illustration of prevailing continuous prayer. ……
He said – “During my recent visit to Italy, when in the hotel, I desired the attention of the waiter, and observing the button to be pressed, I applied my thumb as instructed, but no waiter appeared; I repeated the experiment several times, with no better success. Presently another visitor entered, and, hearing my desire, asked if I had rung the bell. I told him I had, without success. “Ah,” said he, “you do not understand; I have been here before,” and placing his thumb upon the button, he kept it there till the waiter appeared. That is how we must pray: keep up continuous application until the answer arrives”.
Yes, keep your finger on the prayer button.
Jesus Breaking Chains
Peter had been put in prison unjustly. But thank God there is deliverance as we call upon the precious Name of the Lord, and Peter was freed by the power of God.. But there are many who are imprisoned and in chains for many other reasons. Prisons of depression. Prisons of despair. Prisons of doubt of God’s love. Prisons of alcohol addiction and drug addiction. Prisons of besetting sin that cannot be forsaken. But today we know that Jesus can break every chain and save every prisoner free that calls upon his name.
